Brian Tracy is Chairman and CEO of Brian Tracy International, a company specializing in the training and development of individuals and organizations.

Brain Tracy is a Canadian –American motivational public speaker and self-development book author. He is the author of over seventy books that have been translated into dozens of languages. His popular books are: 
1. EARN WHAT YOU ARE REALLY WORTH 
2. EAT THAT FROG 
3. THE PSYCHOLOGY OF ACHIEVEMENT.

This book will help you to unlock your hidden powers which will help you to get successful. The principles and strategies in this book will help you to realize your true potential and help you to build the life the way you want and also help you to attain the peace of mind which comes through knowledge. 

In chapter-1, Tracy says that today’s age is the age of achievement, people are becoming successful in today’s era compare to any other era because people have more opportunities which help them to turn their dreams into realities compare to earlier ages. 

Tracy also says no matter who you are or what is your present situation, you have the potential to achieve  more that you ever had before, you have the ability to accomplish more than before, you have more potential, capability, and ability than you have ever imagined, in order to understand your potential you just need to learn how and then need to put what you have learnt into action.

In chapter-2, Tracy has shared 7 laws of mental mastery which will help you achieve success. The seven laws are mentioned below :

1. THE LAW OF BELIEF

This law holds that whatever you believe consistently, becomes reality. For example, the bird sitting on the branch of tree doesn't fear for the branches to break because it has belief on it's wings. 
Tracy also says “whether you think you can or you think you can’t either way, you are right".

2. THE LAW OF EXPECTATION

This law proposes that we can achieve more than what we expect. That's the power of our subconscious mind. The law of expectation work when planned things are put into action. 

3. THE LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT

It is an important law in our life. It is also called as “IRON LAW OF THE UNIVERSE". As per the law of cause and effect, every single matter which effect in your life has a specific and reasonable cause. Everything happens for a reason whether or not you are cognisant of the fact. 
Tracy tells, specific cause of failure and specific cause of success can be found only by those specific person. 

4. THE LAW OF ATTRACTION

There are many books on this single law as it is considered one of the most important law. This law deals with the human behavior, so it differs from person to person. Tracy says, we invariably attract people and situation in our lives with our dominant thoughts. We should have control over our thoughts. It will lead to a successful life. 

5. THE LAW OF MENTAL EQUIVALENCY

This law is a extension of the above said law. Things appear as how you imagine. We should give equal importance to everything that happens around our life. We often ignore things which makes us hurt. We should face it with a positive mentality. Tracy repeatedly emphasise the importance of your thoughts over your life with a positive outlook.  

6. THE LAW OF CORRESPONDENCE

This law puts out that, your face is the reflection of your heart. You can tell what is going on inside of you by looking at what is going on around you. Your thoughts and imagination over your life is correspondent to your success. 

7. THE LAW OF CONTROL

This law explains you that why it is so important for you to know what exactly you want. Self confidence is the key which separates the successful person over a person with vague thoughts. You feel positive about yourself to the degree to which you feel you are in control of your own life and you feel negative about yourself to the degree to which you decisive.

In chapter-3, Tracy says the moment you begin changing your mind is the very moment you began to change your life.

Tracy ends the chapter by asking you to examine yourself, examine the various areas of your life with a checklist and to decide where you feel positive and in control, and where you don’t feel confident and in control. The sense of control is your greatest responsibility which will help you to build happy successful life.
