4. Uber to buy Postmates in $2.65 billion all-stock deal
Ride-sharing company Uber Technologies Inc has agreed on a deal to buy food-delivery app Postmates Inc in a $2.65 billion all-stock agreement. Postmates was last valued at $2.4 billion, when it raised $225 million in a private fundraising.
5. Reliance Industries becomes 1st Indian firm to cross ₹11.5 trillion m-cap mark
The company's market valuation rose by ₹40,508.8 crore to ₹11,73,677.35 crore at close of trade. The stock jumped 3.57% to close at ₹1,851.40 on the BSE. During the day, it rose by 3.94% to a record high of ₹1,858.
